Radio Loma was founded in Torreperogil (Jaén, Spain) as a municipal radio station in 2005, broadcasting on 107.7 FM. That same year, Antonio Rosillo Martínez was appointed directorof the new station, which is based in the town's old post office building. The first program togo on air was El Barrero, on December 4, which was joined in the following weeks by classicssuch as Distorsión and La Diana, until reaching the current production of eight in-houseprograms. In 2006, Radio Loma became part of the EMA RTV Association of Municipal RadioStations, establishing itself as a prominent member in the province of Jaén.
