Radio Labin SELECTS THE DIGITAL AEQ CAPITOL MIXING CONSOLE FOR ITS MAIN STUDIO

Radio Labin is a Croatian radio station that produces its programs from its headquarters in the picturesque town of Labin. From there, it has witnessed the profound transformation experienced in the region, from its origins as the country’s mining capital to its current status as one of the leading rural tourism centers in the area. Radio Labin has always broadcast on 91.0 FM and currently also streams worldwide through numerous online platforms, as well as through its comprehensive website,https://radiolabin.hr/?utm_source=chatgpt.com

During the design of Radio Labin’s new main studio, the company’s technical management team had clear requirements for its future audio console: it had to be digital and feature IP connectivity due to the high level of audio quality achieved and the ease of interconnection it provides. It also needed to be a robust mixer, ready for long uninterrupted working hours, and simple to operate, allowing both qualified engineers and younger journalists to work with it easily. Ultimately, Radio Labin, advised by the Croatian systems integrator Radiocom, selected the digital AEQ CAPITOL mixing console.

The AEQ CAPITOL IP12 is a fixed-configuration 12-channel Digital Audio Mixing Console. In CAPITOL IP, the implementation of IP connectivity is based on a single module with 16 input and 16 output channels integrated into its core. One of the main strengths of the AEQ CAPITOL IP is its extensive input capacity: 4 mic/line inputs, 12 analog inputs, 4 stereo digital AES/EBU (AES3) inputs, 2 stereo digital USB inputs, 2 optional telephone lines, and optional multichannel digital audio links; 16 AoIP channels over two Ethernet connectors or 64 MADI input channels via optical fiber.
