Alongside its latest broadcast solutions, AEQ will present SYSTEL MAX, its next-generation call-in, multiconference and external coordination system, designed for radio, television and professional environments that require efficient, flexible and high-quality communications.
Based on VoIP technology and the SIP protocol, SYSTEL MAX enables seamless integration with existing IP PBXs, corporate telephony systems, SIP trunking services and IP telephony providers. This architecture helps organisations reduce operating costs and eliminate the need for traditional dedicated telephone lines, while taking advantage of existing IP infrastructure.
The system is built around SOLARIS for SYSTEL MAX, a compact 1RU engine featuring dedicated IP connectivity for redundant AoIP, VoIP and control networks. Depending on the selected licence, the platform can manage up to 128 IP telephone lines or operator extensions, as well as up to 128 IP audio inputs and outputs, making it suitable for large, multi-studio radio and television facilities.
Its architecture is based on a non-blocking digital matrix, allowing multiple telephone contributions to be managed simultaneously without compromising audio quality. Up to 16 lines can participate in a live programme at the same time, while the system dynamically distributes IP lines across multiple studios to optimise resources and adapt to different operational requirements.
SYSTEL MAX supports Dante and AES67 audio-over-IP connectivity, enabling direct integration with modern broadcast audio infrastructures and compatible equipment such as mixing consoles, audio interfaces and networked production systems. This approach simplifies routing and provides greater flexibility when designing or expanding broadcast facilities.
The system also offers a wide range of control options tailored to the workflows of producers, engineers, operators and presenters. SYSTEL IP Original combines a PC application with an IP telephone and is designed for high-productivity radio environments, allowing different operational tasks to be distributed among multiple users. SYSTEL IP TV extends these capabilities to television workflows, providing access to intercom and external technical communications.
For control rooms and spaces where a separate computer is not required, SYSTEL SET MAX integrates the operating application into a dedicated touchscreen IP telephone. Its 7-inch multitouch display provides direct access to call management functions, helping users work efficiently in compact control positions and other professional environments.
The system provides comprehensive tools for managing incoming and outgoing calls, call queues, directories, scheduling, caller identification, on-air contributions and communication between production teams. Different user permissions can also be configured to distinguish the roles and responsibilities of producers, operators and presenters.
