From September 12 to 15, Amsterdam will host IBC 2025, and AEQ will be at booth 8C55 showcasing Capitol IP PLUS digital console – designed for broadcasters who need power, flexibility, and reliability in ON AIR operations without compromising space or simplicity.
Capitol IP PLUS combines an ultra-compact design with a 10-fader ergonomic surface and touchscreen, making it ideal for demanding radio and TV workflows. Its M_CORE PLUS engine includes internal expansion modules such as redundant power supply, digital telephone hybrid, and a Dante interface of up to 32 IP channels.
Audio processing features include a 4-band parametric EQ, dynamic filters, and comprehensive audio dynamics tools to adapt sound for different formats and styles. It also integrates essential live production functions such as automatic monitor muting, cough cut, signaling, talkback/intercom, fader-start, external equipment control via programmable keys, and other key ON AIR utilities.
Connectivity is extensive: four mic/line inputs with phantom power, configurable analog I/Os, AES/EBU digital I/Os, USB stereo, AoIP (AES67/Dante) with bidirectional channels, synchronization via AES/EBU and Dante. It also includes Bluetooth for stereo playback or phone signals, and multiple monitoring outputs and headphone feeds (control, main, secondary) to adapt to different setups.
For remote operation, Virtual Capitol software replicates the physical surface on a PC, allowing remote control of faders, EQ, panoramas, preset recalls, and special functions from anywhere on the network.
Built to be silent (convection cooling), robust, and reliable, the console supports redundant power configurations, multiple monitoring outputs (CUE, headphones, configurable VU meters), and automatic boot with either previous settings or default profiles.
AEQ team will be pleased to show you Capitol IP PLUS at IBC 2025, Hall 8, booth 8C55. Discover how this console can streamline your ON AIR workflows, simplify daily operation, and enhance the quality of your broadcasts.
