The Complutense University of Madrid once again places its trust in AEQ technology

The Complutense University of Madrid has once again placed its trust in AEQ, a Spanish company specializing in R&D for technological solutions for broadcasting, based in Leganés. More than a decade ago, the UCM already trusted AEQ to equip its radio studios with BRAVO analog audio consoles, along with studio accessories such as headphone regulators and specific cabling, thus enabling it to equip its self-control and broadcasting rooms for the practical training of its students.

AEQ recently supplied and installed professional radio equipment in four practice rooms at the Faculty of Information Sciences, with the aim of offering students a fully immersive training experience in line with current technological standards in the radio sector.

AEQ has been developing technological solutions for radio, television, and multimedia for over 40 years. Its catalog includes audio consoles, intercom systems, IP audio solutions, and other equipment designed for demanding production environments. Its AoIP audio solutions are used by major media outlets and at international events.

Each of the four rooms has been equipped with a desktop version of the AEQ Capitol IP mixing console with 8 faders. This model features IP connectivity via Dante protocol, which facilitates integration into AoIP (Audio over IP) environments, ensuring flexibility and reliability in daily operation.

For managing the microphones in the booths, AEQ Netbox 4MH converters have been installed, allowing up to 4 microphones per room to be connected via AoIP. This solution provides high audio quality and easy integration with the rest of the system.

In addition, AEQ HB-02 units have been incorporated as desktop headphone regulators, ensuring that each broadcaster has individual control over listening volume, which is essential in both training environments and real-life broadcasting situations.

This project reaffirms AEQ’s commitment to university education and technological innovation, providing new generations of professionals with cutting-edge tools for their learning and development.
