AEQ technology is once again present at one of the most important eGames events of the year.

Last August 2024 the third edition of the Gamergy event was held in CDMX (Expo Santa Fé Mexico). An event designed for all fans of video games and the online world. The Mexican market is one of the most important worldwide for online video games and therefore, attendance at the three-day event was more than 87,000 people.

The zones of the event were differentiated by the viewing section and the stands and games section. In the viewing area it was possible to attend tournaments and finals of video games such as League of Legends, Rocket League and Call of Duty, among others. On the other hand, the stand area was marked by numerous brands that gave information and let people try some demos or interactive dynamics.

The event organisers had a Crossnet 72 Intercom, TP8000 panels in Dante and for the technicians and staff on the move, on set and in other areas, they were equipped with XPLORER beltpacks which, thanks to their great autonomy of up to 20 hours, make it possible to chain recordings with live performances without having to recharge the battery. In addition, Crossnet 72 made it possible to integrate 4-wire sources for interconnecting CCU units and audio consoles.

AEQ Intercom systems enter a world of possibilities by being able to make configurations, crosspoints, send and receive Dante signals from both mixers and other equipment within the system.

The use of IP technology throughout the assembly simplified the wiring tasks, minimised the previous hours of installation, and allowed to offer great versatility in the operation, with infinite changes in real time to adapt to a production as agile and dynamic as the live broadcasting of video game games requires.

The whole project has been coordinated by the manager of AEQ Mexico Mr. César Reyna in collaboration with the technical services of Grupo Secuoya, who have once again renewed their confidence in aeq technology for this new event.
