Ignacio Alonso to head AEQ as new CEO of the company

AEQ appoints Ignacio Alonso Montull as the company’s new CEO. The new CEO of the Spanish audio and video manufacturer travels to Las Vegas to meet with attendees at booth C3106 at NAB 24, April 14-17.

Ignacio Alonso, has more than 25 years of experience in the Electronics and Telecommunications industry, linked to different facets: research and development, manufacturing, marketing, entrepreneurship and management.

Mr. Alonso takes over a market-leading organisation, based on a strong R&D&I team that offers its products and services to leading customers in more than 90 countries around the world. AEQ, since its foundation in 1979, has been a leading manufacturer especially in the field of audio and communications equipment for the broadcast environment and the broadcasting of major sporting events. With the takeover of Kroma Telecom in 2014, it increased its development potential for intercom solutions for television production.

AEQ has its manufacturing plant, R&D laboratory and headquarters in the Technological Park of Leganés, Madrid, Spain, with offices in the USA, Mexico, Portugal and India.
