Capitol IP PLUS at ISE 2026: ON AIR power and flexibility in a compact format
From February 3 to 6, Barcelona will host ISE 2026, and AEQ will be at booth 4J800 showcasing its Capitol IP PLUS digital console, designed for professionals seeking power, flexibility, and reliability in ON AIR broadcasts, without sacrificing compact design or ease of use.
Capitol IP PLUS combines an ultra-compact format with 10 faders and an ergonomic touchscreen, ideal for managing demanding radio and television workflows. Its M_CORE PLUS engine offers internal expansion modules, including redundant power supply, hybrid digital telephony interface, and a Dante module with up to 32 IP channels.
In terms of audio processing, the console offers a 4-band parametric equalizer, dynamic filters, and dynamics control, allowing you to adapt the sound to different formats and styles. It also includes essential tools for live production, such as automatic monitor muting, cough control, control signals, talkback/intercom, fader-start, external equipment management via programmable keys, and other essential ON AIR utilities.
Its connectivity is very comprehensive: it has four microphone/line inputs with phantom power, configurable analog inputs and outputs, AES/EBU digital, stereo USB, and AoIP (AES67/Dante) connectivity with bidirectional channels and synchronization via AES/EBU and Dante. It also incorporates Bluetooth for stereo audio playback or receiving phone signals, and has multiple outputs and integrated headphones (control, primary, and secondary), allowing flexible audio monitoring at different points and in different modes.
Capitol IP PLUS also incorporates remote control tools via the Virtual Capitol app, which replicates the physical surface of the console on your PC. This allows you to manage faders, equalization, panning, preset recalls, and special functions from anywhere on the network.
Designed to be quiet, robust, and reliable, the console uses convection cooling and supports redundant power configurations as well as multiple monitoring outputs (CUE, headphones, configurable VU meters). It also facilitates automatic startup by retaining previous settings or using default settings.
