AEQ will showcase its audio and communication innovations at CABSAT 2025, Dubai, Booth 103

AEQ is proud to present at CABSAT 2025 two new broadcast solutions: Capitol IP Plus and Xplorer Max. In addition, visitors will also find solutions such as the TP9000 intercom panels, the Solaris audiocodec and the Olympia system.

CAPITOL IP PLUS, THE NEW DIGITAL AUDIO CONSOLE

AEQ is excited to announce at CABSAT 2025 the Capitol IP Plus, the most advanced evolution of its range of digital broadcast consoles. This console integrates expanded connectivity, flexibility and a modern design. With color screens on each channel and a 7′ touch screen as the base of operation, it provides an intuitive experience for the operator, also allowing precise control of all console functions with its touch & touch button. With 10 faders and 16-channel Dante connectivity as a base, expandable to 32 channels, the Capitol IP Plus stands out for its ability to adapt to the needs of each professional environment.

With a routing capacity of 96×96, it far outperforms competitors in its class. Capitol IP Plus also stands out for its customizability. It is available in silver or black finish. Its programmable keys, which allow hundreds of configurations via paging, make it easy to adapt to any workflow.

It also features Bluetooth connectivity on the surface, three amplified headphone circuits, four AES/EBU digital inputs and outputs, and up to 17 analog inputs and 16 analog outputs, including five microphones, in a basic configuration that can be expanded through Dante.

XPLORER MAX, INNOVATION IN WIRELESS INTERCOM

AEQ launches Xplorer MAX, a revolutionary wireless intercom terminal that redefines communication in professional environments. With its exclusive digital radio technology in the 5 GHz band, WM-DEC (Wireless Multimedia – Docsis Enhanced Communication), Xplorer MAX guarantees a quality of service (QoS), protection against interference and an exceptional range of up to 600 meters in open field with a single antenna.

Thanks to its advanced design, Xplorer MAX minimizes the need for multiple access points, making it easy to install and ideal for temporary deployments, large-scale events and demanding environments. Each access point can manage dozens of terminals simultaneously.

Xplorer MAX combines functionality and ergonomics in its compact and robust beltpack format. It integrates an intuitive interface with 4 programmable keys per page (up to 4 pages per key), two volume encoders and a multifunction graphic LED display. It is compatible with Conexia, Crossnet, the TH5000 matrix and the Xpeak matrix-less system, and offers HD VoIP and KROMA VoIP connectivity.

SOLARIS, AUDIO GATEWAY MULTICODEC

SOLARIS is a high density multichannel audiocodec. It can be purchased with 8 bi-directional stereo channels and expanded in groups of 8 channels, reaching up to 64 channels, all in a single 1U 19″ rack form factor. Intended for multiple STL links, broadcast companies and remote contributions.

High-end features include:

– AoIP-only local audio.
– 5 1000 baseT Ethernet ports and ability to route multiple WANs.
– Audio I/O is provided via Dante (AES-67 compliant) with the ability to add redundancy via a second Ethernet port when required.

TP9000 – INTERCOM USER PANELS

AEQ will also show the new 9000 series rack-mounted desktop intercom panels, TP9116 and TP9416, as well as the expansion panel, EP9116. Based on 4-way levers with two functions per lever, as well as individual level adjustment on the key itself.

They have “Talk” and “Listen” functions and individual volume control for each communication point, by means of a 4-way toggle key. It consists of 16 cross-stitch keys, four pages that manage up to 64 destinations or groups. Information is presented on four RGB graphic displays. The user panels provide broadcast-quality audio.

OLYMPIA 3 SYSTEM, COMMENTARY SYSTEM FOR LARGE EVENTS

AEQ OLYMPIA3 can operate as a stand-alone commentary unit (CU) or be connected through an 8-channel AoIP link with the Dante protocol in a scalable way: simple routing to Dante IP devices, integration into an IP intercom system or connected to an IP commentary system matrix. AEQ Olympia 3 represents a technological revolution, offering greater flexibility and democratization in its use. In other words, Olympia 3 has been designed for use both in large events with hundreds of positions in the same stadium and in modest installations where the Commentary Unit is needed.
