AEQ Intercom powers Asharq TV's new OB Van
Asharq TV is an Arabic-language Saudi television channel and news portal specializing in regional and global economic news. Founded in 2020, it is part of SRMG, one of Saudi Arabia’s leading media and research groups.

Asharq TV has recently begun construction of a new mobile unit, entrusting AEQ technology with its technical equipment. AEQ XPEAK is an intercom system that integrates virtual networking technology through an automatic global interconnection wizard. This approach eliminates the usual complexity of creating virtual networks and manually configuring each device.
Thanks to this system, it is possible to interconnect different user panels, both hardware and software, as if they were all located in the same production center, regardless of whether they operate within the same LAN network or are distributed across multiple locations connected to the Internet.
The user does not need to have a static IP address, configure a dynamic DNS, or set up port forwarding, as each panel automatically adapts to the local network it is connected to. The result is immediate operation in virtually any network environment, even those that are particularly restrictive.
A typical XPEAK system can consist of several devices installed at a single location and one or more additional devices located in remote or residential environments. To communicate with these external points, the devices located at the site only require outgoing Internet access, which allows them to connect to the virtual network server in the cloud, responsible for routing audio bidirectionally to the remote panels.
The AEQ XPEAK intercom family includes rack-mount and desktop user panels, wireless and wired pouches, PC software licenses, and a comprehensive interface unit that facilitates integration with third-party solutions and devices.
Finally, AEQ OLYMPIA 3 represents the latest generation of commentator positions developed by AEQ, bringing together more than 40 years of the brand’s experience in major sporting events worldwide.
OLYMPIA 3 can operate independently or be integrated into a multi-channel AoIP network. Its Dante/AES67-compatible connectivity allows both integration with AEQ intercom systems and connection to an AoIP commentator system matrix, adapting to both large multi-venue and multi-sport events and more modest deployments.
