AEQ AudioPlus promotes technological innovation at Francisco de Vitoria University

The AEQ Audioplus automation system has been key in the modernization of the radio stations of the Francisco de Vitoria University (UFV), a leading educational institution in Madrid. With this implementation, AEQ reaffirms its commitment to the academic sector, providing advanced solutions that improve both technical management and user experience.

The project has included the renovation of UFV’s six radio studios, integrating AEQ Audioplus as the backbone of its operations. This system allows to manage and automate content efficiently, ensuring reliability and adapting to the training needs of students.

They also have 4 Radio and communication practice studios integrated with the AEQ Capitol IP 8 faders Digital Audio Console in a recessed format with the Audioplus automation system.

The AUDIOPLUS automation system, chosen for this renovation, brings multiple benefits for both technical management and hands-on learning for students. Among its most outstanding features are:

  • Centralized server, hosted in the University’s server farm, which guarantees reliability and performance.
  • Integration with the UFV network units, facilitating the massive import and export of audio content.
  • Cataloging of your sound library according to the user’s needs.
  • Import and normalization of semi-automated audios.
  • Secure mode, which allows broadcasting from cache without connection to the server, ensuring continuity of service. In this way, entire days or weeks can be automated without the need for connection to a central server.
  • Low hardware investment: AUDIOPLUS accepts any audio card on the market, whether professional, semi-professional or low-cost.
  • Comprehensive audio and metadata migration. No audio was lost in the migration process.

The project has been carried out by Why3 Broadcast S.R.L. in collaboration with the team of Inercia Tecnología Audiovisual S.L. and on behalf of AEQ Guadalupe López Toledo as responsible for the Technical-Commercial Area.
