Central America Hits Sorriso enhances the quality of its broadcasts with AEQ FORUM IP SPLIT console

Centro América Hits Sorriso (89.3fm), located in Sorriso, Mato Grosso, Brazil, is a leading radio station in the region, known for its varied programming that includes sertaneja pop music and popular national and international hits. Through its official website, the station offers exclusive content, promotions, events, and programming that connects with its local and regional audience.

With the aim of improving the quality of its broadcasts and adapting to new technologies, CA Hits Sorriso has implemented the AEQ FORUM IP digital console, a professional system that allows audio to be processed and distributed with maximum fidelity and stability.

“Radio Centro América FM migrated its audio system from analog to AEQ digital. Previously, operating with a domestic analog console, the station faced noticeable noise and bass imbalances, compromising sound fidelity and consistency on the air. With the new AEQ FORUM console, audio is now processed with complete fidelity, ensuring superior quality and stable operation. Processing and distribution are handled by an AEQ console integrated with the Dante protocol, which ensures a clean, noise-free, and reliable PGM signal.”

AEQ FORUM IP SPLIT is a digital mixing and control console designed for broadcast environments that require maximum reliability, flexibility, and audio quality. Its modular architecture allows the control chassis to be separated from the audio engine, facilitating integration into modern studios and small spaces. With native support for the Dante AoIP protocol, the FORUM IP SPLIT allows direct connection to audio-over-IP networks, ensuring stable, high-quality transmission without latency. It also offers customizable configuration options, automatic functions for continuous broadcasting, and an intuitive workflow that simplifies live operation.

Thanks to the implementation of FORUM IP SPLIT, the studio now has a fully digital system that allows for more efficient operation and professional-quality audio, eliminating noise and misalignment issues that occurred with the old analog console. Integration with the Dante protocol ensures a clean and reliable PGM signal, improving the experience for both operators and listeners.

This installation was made possible thanks to Lineup, AEQ’s official distributor in Brazil, which provided comprehensive support throughout the project and ensured that the transition to digital was carried out efficiently and without any interruptions to programming.
